1932 Ford Coupe

1932 Ford Coupe

Old cars have gotten a bad reputation lately as being a rich man's game; news reports and TV shows depicting cars passing over the auction block for literally millions of dollars can easily put that impression in peoples' heads. Happily, like so much of what passes for “reality TV” and “news” these days, most of it is orchestrated hokum, and an example of the bank-draining insanity that can happen when you have a live camera trained on you.

If considering a classic car that is already restored, and you are leaning towards the classic hot rod genre, look no further than this '32 Ford Coupe Model “B” that we can definitely call nicely done. Reading the parts list put into this creation is like a who's who of automotive aftermarket manufacturers, and not the shoddy ones. And the key word is done, or completed, or we're washing our hands and getting ready to go for a ride!

Exterior
A Down's fiberglass body with a 3” chop, billet polished wheels, and plenty of shiny near perfect chrome make up the look for this early 1930's classic. I mean honestly, with its flip open hood, large front fenders, running boards that connect to wider rear fenders curved trunk lid, red and blue thin belt line pin striping, and sexy exterior lights framed by chrome accoutrements, you'll be turning heads when you show up to your local classic car drive in, because you are driving a star!

Interior
With a sexy black custom bench with suede inserts and black leather bolsters, it truly is placing you in the lap of luxury when you swing open the suicide door with its Texas suede and leather panels and custom armrests. With custom metal dash, long chromed 12' Lokar TH300 shifter, Ididit adjustable chrome steering column, Autometer gauges, and billet style 3 spoke steering wheel, hold the temptation to brag, because we can also throw in some red banded “32” emblazoned stitched in a black field floor mats. And open the trunk and you are met with a tribute to the “Deuce Coupe” all in its cloth finery. No spare here baby bear. Look upward within the drivers compartment and you'll note an AM/FM/CD player with multiple speaker sound system..let it ride!

Drivetrain
Looking like it was dipped in metal, (be it aluminum, cast or chromed,) this 350 Ci Crate Chevy with Ram Jet Electronic Fuel Injection shines on like a crazy diamond. A Turbo 350 3 speed transmission os strapped to the back.

Undercarriage
All this above bling is supported by a TCI Dropped Axle Chrome and stainless-steel framework. We see Willwood power front disc brakes, and 11.090” drums by Currie. Coil over shocks, a 9” rear with 3.00 gears, a 10 gallon fuel tank, Borla mufflers, and a Walker radiator. All clean and ready to go green…

We see many “hot rods” come through our doors, and many are nice but every now and again we get one that is really nicely done, and this 32 “Deuce Coupe does not disappoint. And you can just turn the key and go and show.
