1995 Nissan 300ZX

Nissan was a relatively small automaker when it entered the international market in the 1960's and partnered with Yamaha to design a new sports car prototype to update the Nissan Fairlady. Nissan executives saw the prototype as a halo car that would improve their company's image in the minds of consumers. By 1964, Nissan realized that Yamaha's DOHC 2.0-liter engine was not meeting Nissan's expectations and the project was scrapped. Enter the Datsun 240Z, and the rest is history.

For consignment an original 1995 Nissan 300ZX, with a powerful turbocharged engine, 4-wheel steering, and leather interior. In very good condition, well cared for and 56,576 documented miles. The perfect entry level classic sports car with a buzz.

Exterior
A smoked glass “T” topped version, that is covered in Arctic White Pearl. Aero non hidden headlights, an integrated bumper and grille, consistent gaps, a spoiler, and very clean, this car is in awesome condition. Aerodynamic curves, and glass that works with steel to create beautiful lines, accentuate the speed of the car even when it is standing still. Standard alloy wheels are noted all around.

Interior
Tan leather buckets within a tan vinyl interior in very clean condition are seen with a pop of the “T” top or a swing of either door. Sitting in these seats you are immediately grabbed and in a good way. Strap in and turn the key, and watch the gauges come to life, and listen to the high pitch of horsepower being produced. 2 “pods” flank the instrument cluster and provide ergonomic controls for climate (AC not working), power seats, wipers, and defrost on one side, and on the other rear window defog, cruise control, lighting, and dimming toggles. A Bose AM/FM/Cassette is in the center of the dash, and this is surrounded by stitched vinyl /leather panels. A center matching console houses the 5-speed short throw shifter, active suspension adjustment, and power side view mirror controls. Everything at your fingertips so you don't have to take your eyes off the road while speeding down it!

Drivetrain
A twin turbo 3.0-liter V6 putting out 300hp is within the clean engine bay. The essential 5-speed manual transmission is strapped on back, and a new Rhino clutch has been recently installed.

Undercarriage
Some surface rust on the rockers and frame, and cracking and delaminating of exhaust piping, and surface rust on front suspension parts, are noted. All else is unremarkable and appears structurally sound. A slight corrosion on the oil pan and underside of the transmission is seen as well. Frame and floorpans are in good condition. Seen are newer adjustable shocks, 4-wheel steering, and power ABS brakes.

If you have a perchance for going fast and having a car that is a real curve carver, then look no further. Classic Japanese engineering and quality of build is seen here in spades. All in original condition with low mileage.
