2023 Triton FIT 1481 Utility Trailer
John Reiser and Bob Peisch formed Triton in 1975 as a boat lift manufacturer. Beginning in John's garage, Triton grew quickly - soon moving into a plant in Allenton, Wisconsin in 1976. Although today's focus is top quality aluminum trailers, John and Bob also manufactured storefront canopies, farm gates, wood burning furnaces, and performed miscellaneous job shop work in the past. By 1995, Triton had outgrown its Allenton facility and relocated to a 190,000 sq. ft. building in Hartford, Wisconsin. John retired and Triton continued to grow under the guidance of his daughter, Rochelle, and son-in-law, Tony Priesgen. In early 2013, Triton was purchased by Jacsten Holdings.
For consignment, a Wisconsin made quality lightweight diamond plate aluminum trailer flatbed setup that can carry virtually anything up to 5,875lbs. It has a spare tire locked within the spare tire carrier on the side, wide aluminum folding ramps to allow you to load anything your heart desires and a spacious 14' x 6'9" full deck allowing you to haul your mower, snowmobile, motorcycle, or new furniture your wife recently picked out. There are electric brakes, and Tor-Flex suspension to keep the load stable over the roughest of roads. Newer tires for this single axle trailer. and a small flip down wheel for easy movement when not hooked up to a vehicle.
In very good condition the aluminum is clean and corrosion free, is functional, and the trailer rolls smoothly and has good braking. The battery for the emergency disconnect on the brakes could use a charge, and that is the only fault we found while putting it through the paces. Haul ass!!!
