2021 Ford Mustang GT Coupe 

The Ford blue oval has been around a while.  The oval that was added was first used in 1907 by British agents Perry, Thornton, and Schreiber-predecessors of the original Ford Motor Company Limited of Great Britain.  This oval presented Ford as being the "hallmark for reliability and economy".  From 1927 onward, the use of this logo was deemphasized and then dropped altogether.  Over time the oval that had encircled the Ford logo in times past got slimmer and more refined.  Other than the standard blue color that had always been used, alternate colors of black and white were also tested out around 1961.  Today the Ford logo still has that same iconic blue oval, but has been made to look more modernized with a silver lining around its font and a white hue added to the lettering.  It is a very simple, yet elegant design that was created on the 100th Anniversary of Ford Motor Company.  The "Centennial Blue Oval" is widely considered as one of the most successful car logos in the world.

For consignment, a hot item if you will in the form of a 4,233 title verified actual mile 2021 Mustang GT.  It has the Performance Package 1, a Whipple 3.0 supercharger and was tuned by JDM, a Ford performance track suspension, tinted windows and is showing up, albeit for a short time because its so fast, in Antimatter Blue Metallic.  

Exterior
Using history as its guide, it has many aspects of the design which have been familiar staples for the Mustang since its inception.  It has a more chilled look to the front with the inset headlights, back horizontal ribbed grille with no oval or horse, a second lower opening and then the bottom spoiler.  Front quarters are very smooth with a graceful up and down curve, and these take the handoff from the bumper and move rearward and frame 19-inch blackened with low profile tires in 245/40ZR19 rubber in front.  The back portion of the front quarter has a large 5.0 badge on it.  As we move back shades of the hockey stick cove are noted. but the bottom is gone and it's just a bump out for the rear quarter and wheel well, and the stick is now wide.  Below the doors a flared out rockers adding to the chiseled look.  These quarters frame larger rubber, (275/40ZR19), and eventually wrap around to the rear where we are back to vertical trios of tail lighting.  Above, the raked windshield has an aggressive look, tinted glass and a long angled rear glass which lands just prior to the rear spoiler.  The back of the car curves around those tail lights and eventually the bumper trails over with some dual dual exhaust on the corners and a central diffuser in black.  A modern look for a true classic that has been with us since 1964.

Interior
Passing by the curved edged doors we can touch some molded black vinyl with an inset that has the armrest, actuator, toggles and a storage area in the bottom.  Just a hint of satin silver plastic for the door pul breaks up the darkness.  Some white stitched dark black vinyl is also intermixed with this design.  Smooth black cloth with more white stitching covers the high back buckets.  These have an embossed M U S T A N G in the upper centers.  A console blows by these buckets and uses more back molded plastic and satin silver accents.   A tight back 2 plus 2 rear bench is in behind the buckets.  The dash has gone to a flattened top design and below the visor are 2 round deep set instruments  These have a blue tinted backlighting and a small LED panel in the center.  Moving across some carbon fiber pattern has dual eyeball vents and 2 more round gauges between these.  As the dash goes down to meet the console we see a screen for the AM/FM/CD radio head unit.  It also has  Navi, and a backup camera, along with Bluetooth and Sirius capabilities.  Some climate controls are below this and are push buttons.  Below this just in front of the shifter are some satin silver toggles for drive modes and the push button starter.  An overstuffed rim steering wheel has plenty of buttons to occupy your attention with two tiers of them on the spokes.  Charcoal gray carpeting covers the floors and black fuzzy broadcloth headliner is above.

Drivetrain
Under the hood is a 5.0 Liter Coyote V8 shoehorned in the engine bay.  There is also a Whipple 3.0 liter supercharger on top and the package is tuned by JDM to a consignor stated 662hp.  The mil is fed with EFI and on the back is a 10 speed automatic.  Way in back is a 3.55 TrackLock Torsen differential.  Stainless works long tube headers are on and these throw spent gases through high flow cats and a Magnaflow resonator X pipe then out the back of the car via the factory mufflers and tail pipes.

Undercarriage
All solid structure here and we see a Ford racing track suspension with lowering springs, struts and shocks.  The front is independent Macpherson struts and for the back independent coil springs.  Power disc brakes woah this horsey.

Drive-Ability
Climbing in the car has a good ergonomic feel.  I pushed the button and off I went.  Neck snapping acceleration, good handling, a smooth ride and easy cruise at way above the normal limit, this car is impressive.  All functions were working just great.  

A menacing looker and some serious power upgrades we give you a real thoroughbred for the street or track.  All in a little used 4,233 original mile package Metallic Antimatter Blue package.
