1992 Chevrolet Corvette Coupe

Don't purchase a 1992 Corvette and squirrel it away in a warehouse hoping it will make you wealthy. If you want to collect something that really might make a fortune someday, try coins, Hummel's, or hood ornaments, or a limited run of “the Artist Formerly Known As Prince” plates. This car was made to be driven. It would be a shame to own it and have it any other way.

Exterior
Bright Red covers all the fiberglass, which remains in good shape. A few scrapes and openings on the underside of the body, ala a high curb. A clamshell hood, and bronze tinted removable targa roof, with an additional Bright Red Backup if you wish, included, resides in the back of this car. The long curved pop up rear glass reveals a spacious storage area, especially when you choose to store the top in the garage! Simple badging, and inset taillights with dual horizontal chrome tipped exhaust are seen on the rear of the car, and pop up headlights in full working glory protrude upward on the nose when headlights are turned on.

Interior
White buckets draped in leather, and enough horizontal tufting to be the new Michelin Man. High headrests and in the bolster electronic seat adjustments sit within the drivers compartment and are divided by a large black console. An electronic dash display shows the digital speedo, and the trip and actual mileage. This is surrounded by analog gauges with matching orange indicators and pointers. This orange motif continues to the mid dash with various buttons and controls for heating, AC, radio, fan and CD player. A 6-speed leather wrapped shifter knob sits proudly in the center of the console.

Drivetrain
An LT-1 …5.7L V8 300hp/330lb.ft. small block mill featuring fuel injection is nestled with a 6-speed manual transmission strapped on the back. Electronically controlled suspension, and manual ride selection options are standard, as well as traction control (ASR).

For consignment a good example of early 1990's Corvette Z technology. An unusual color/interior combination, but it works!
