1950 Dodge Flatbed Pickup

There's a quote here at Classic Auto Mall that you never know what is coming through the door, and this truck fits the bill. A running version that has been worked on, but as consigner states, has original engine and transmission. A repaint, and various updates to the brakes and brake lines, as well as the master cylinder. New kingpins have been installed, and it appears, but not confirmed by consigner, that a new bed was put on at some point. Stake body posts and rails line the flatbed all around.

Painted blue, with cream bumpers and grille, as well as wheels, and showing a small black “step-side running board” between the cab and the bed. Chrome diamond plate steel plates surround the back tires.

Interior appears to be mostly original configuration, with all gauges, radio, speaker, and knobs and levers clustered and stacked in the center of the metal dash. A vinyl bench seats stretched from door to door and has a rip, sand some blemishes on it. Rubber floor covers the interior and is the perfect surface for a working truck.

Consigner states 114,983 miles which are thought to be original mileage but cannot be verified. A 230ci inline 6 engine, and a 3-speed on the tree manual transmission drives this truck, and a 1-barrel carburetor feeds the engine. Drum brakes are seen all around. A rarely seen 5-window example.
