2012 Ford Mustang Boss 302 

The Mustang Boss 302 is a high-performance variant of the Ford Mustang originally produced by Ford in 1969 and 1970, alongside its more powerful sibling the Boss 429 Mustang.  Ford revived the Boss 302 nameplate for 2012.  The standard 2011 Ford Mustang GT's 5.0-liter Coyote V8 engine is enhanced and was referred to within Ford's development teams as the Road Runner engine.

For consignment, a red race key active Boss 302 from 2012 and the blue oval.  An exceptionally clean 13,169 title verified mile example with Recaro seats, a Parnelli Jones Air Raid intake, HID head lighting, and all bathed in Competition Orange with black accenting, powder coated black lightweight 19-inch wheels, and wide radials this beautiful example can shame any bowtie out there.

Exterior
Ultra fine straight steel panels cover the solid framework of this car, and are all bathed in Competition Orange.  A shiny black front spoiler, hood bump highlighter, roof rear spoiler and the hockey stick cove surround badging stripe all add some racing inspired bling to the exterior.  Tinted glass has black surrounds, and a black rocker panel cover finishes off this street racer/Boss 302.  19-inch lightweight Ford Racing powder coated wheels in black add to the overall look which is very sporty and aggressive, yet still reminiscent of those that came before this version. These wheels are wrapped in Michelin Pilot Sport 4S high performance summer tires in 255/40 and 285/35ZR format.

Interior
Inside the passenger compartment,  charcoal gray suede leather Recaro racing seats are installed, and the center of attention for the passenger compartment.  The sporty dash with blue LCD display instruments fronts these seats, and uses its sculpted lines to show off sportiness throughout the interior.  Its design harkens back to the early versions which also used 2 round gauges on either side, just not as deep set.  A rear 2 plus 2 seat is installed and 2 more can go for the joyride!  Charcoal gray carpeting is in nice clean condition, and in front carpeted floor  mats are protecting this carpeting.  With plenty of conveniences this interior is all buttoned up and pointing to excellent condition.

Drivetrain
Under the sculpted hood is the heart of the matter in the form of the Boss 302 5.0 Liter Coyote V8 with EFI.  It also has a rare and desirable high flow Parnelli Jones Cold air intake manifold to increase performance.  An MT-82 6-speed manual transmission is on back of this buxom mill, and power gets pushed rearward to a Ford 8.8 inch 3.73 TracLoc Torsen rear axle.  Also a note to the quad exhaust exits on the sides and out the black.  It's a Ford racing exhaust.

Undercarriage
Simply put, just showroom underneath with factory overspray, aero coverings, racing  inspired suspension which is adjustable.  Brembo power front  discs work with standard rear discs add the woah factor to counteract the go factor.

Drive-Ability
A solid runner, good acceleration and steady braking with rail-like handling.  Interior seats are very comfy, and instruments are well within the driver's eye scan.  All functions were working well as they should.  There is a Red track key if you want to upgrade to an E ticket ride which of course I bellied up to this bar and unleashed the extra ponies and over 100 different engine and PCM calibrations...Whoosh!

Just a beautiful example in excellent condition for this Boss 302 from 2012.  Harkening back to the days of earlier models yet contemporary in its racy design to menace the competition.  Orange ya glad you read this description?  Now Git on in here!!
