1990 Jeep Grand Wagoneer

1990 Jeep Grand Wagoneer

Recognized as the first luxury 4-wheel drive sport utility vehicle, the Jeep Grand Wagoneer continues to be an iconic vehicle for its luxurious options and features. The Wagoneer model was produced under numerous manufacturers from 1962-1991 and is highly sought after by collectors today.

Offered for consignment, a sophisticated classic high end 4-wheeler, a 1990 Jeep Grand Wagoneer. Plenty of power conveniences, Howell EFI installed in 2019, R134A A/C, and a leather and broadcloth interior. No roughing it with this classic …”Glamping” ONLY!!

Exterior
White paint mixes with, faux veneer wood grain on the sides, shiny window surrounding trim, well preserved bumpers, badging, and brightwork. Noted for being prone to rust, this example has very little of note and its minor when looking even closely. The wood grain side panels are in good condition and doors have well minded gaps. A chrome roof rack, and a rare optioned sunroof are on top and a cargo cover comes with this vehicle. Turbine style polished wheels are wrapped in Pirelli Scorpion ATR tires in P235/75-R15 form.

Interior
This vehicle represents a lot of TLC being demonstrated by its beautiful tan leather and cloth interior. Cloth inserts and leather bolsters are the theme throughout with front extra large individual power operated seats and a common armrest seat pad between these seats. The rear seating copies this setup only with a solid bench. Door panels are stitched padded leather and in matching light tan. Various toggles are seen for door locks and power windows. Thick pile carpet covers the floors, and the seat backs as well as the cargo area and is mostly clean and stain free. The dash uses a mixture of faux wood grain covered areas, tan plastic, and padded tan vinyl on top of the dash. Square and rectangle black inserts with white numbered gauges and warning lights are in front of the steering wheel. R134 A/C blows from venting below the dash. Also inserted is a Jeep radio which is AM/FM/Cassette and Bluetooth ready.

Drivetrain
A 5.9 Liter V8 and 3-speed A727 Torqueflite automatic work well together, along with you optioning to go 2 wheel or 4 wheeling with the slide of a lever. Howell fuel injection is feeding this mill and a 2.73 axles is on the front and back.

Undercarriage
Little to no surface rust is in sight, and solid floor pans and rockers are noted with no road dirt even on them. Leaf spring suspension, and power disc braking for the front and power drums for the back.

Drive-Ability
We did not go 4 wheeling on the test track nor did I climb any mountains but this truck started in a flash, and ran very nicely throughout the test drive. All power functions are working swimmingly!

Although showing over 88K miles on the odometer, it is clear that this Jeep has been meticulously cared for over its 31 years of operation. It could easily be mistaken for a 25K mile vehicle. With Grand Wagoneers values continuing to climb in the collector market, this time capsule offers immediate driving and ownership pleasure without time and money consuming restoration costs. And you'll do it in style surrounded by conveniences.
