2001 Chevrolet Corvette ZO6 Coupe

Z06 was engineered to be the ultimate driver's car – an expression of pure performance. So much so that it was developed in tandem with the C7.R race car which offers a supercharged 650 horsepower and 650 lb.-ft. of torque. Driving this car is an experience you have to feel to really believe.

A mere 2 owners have had the experience of a lifetime driving this beauty and feeling the power from the 5.7 Liter LS6 engine. Low miles due to the second owner and current consigner being called for service in the military, thank you very much, it has spent a lot of time in the garage, and not the repair kind. Black leather and Millennium Yellow ready for the peeling out session!

Exterior
With a virtual lack of any chrome save for the 4 protruding tailpipes, and the cross flag on the nose and the polished aluminum 5 spoke wheels on all 4 corners. Also noted are those snazzy red brake calipers. We are now in Millennium Yellow bathed fiberglass bliss. From the neoprene nose to the rounded lids of the hidden headlights, Italian inspired design side view mirrors and the flared rockers this aero design sports car is not monkeying around. Black trimmings for the windows, and a rear venting just prior to the rear wheel well, tinted glass, and the Corvette cove in the front quarter all is looking 28K plus juicy low mileage. Nice oval tail lighting brings up the rear and of course those grouping of 4 tailpipes in the center just growl at you when you press the accelerator.

Interior
Beautifully complimentary black leather buckets with a memory and convenience package, black carpet and a black center console and dash add to the menacing all black interior look of this car. The interior presents in nice condition with leather acting gracefully and the smooth design of the high backs offers up plenty of support. We can note power windows, power locks, cruise control, a heads up display, power mirrors and a remote deck lid button. You have the option of dual zone climate control. An AM/FM/CD sound system is installed from the factory. Overall a very nice presentation as it pertains to the interior, all in its mostly analog instrument form, with a slight peppering of digital readouts for the temp and radio. All in the nicely curved aero European influenced design mantra.

Drivetrain
A forward flip of the hood, and you'll be seeing red for the large valve coverings on either side of this LS6 5.7 Liter EFI V8 which tops out at 385hp. All very clean under here, and the LS6 has a T56 6 speed manual transmission with a 3.42 limited slip differential on back.

Undercarriage
Overall very clean, with absolutely no rust, and very solid structure underneath. Active handling coupled with 4 wheel C5 independent suspension, and power disc brakes are all around underneath. Plenty of cast aluminum for weight loss and that snaking exhaust system working its way back to the center stage exits at the very back.

Drive-Ability
She fires right up and sounds great with those 385 horses waiting to be galloped around our test track, and a thoroughbred it was. Great handler, good cruiser and everything control wise works swimmingly. It handles like it's on rails and I was able to have my passenger/decoder grabbing for the Jesus bar, muhahahahah!

Overall a very nice example of a 20 year old 'Vette, that has been well cared for. A screamer for that dreamer in you, and definitely not for the mellow yellow kind of driver. Limitless performance and black leather is the perfect combo to put a smile on your face and a kick in your butt.
