2005 Chevrolet Silverado

The Chevrolet Silverado is a range of trucks manufactured by General Motors. Introduced for the 1999 model year, the Silverado is the successor to the long running Chevrolet C/K model line. Taking its name from the top trim level from the Chevrolet C/K series, the Silverado is offered as a series of full size pickup trucks, chassis cab trucks, and medium duty trucks. The fourth generation of the model line was introduced for the 2019 model year. The Silverado is among the best selling vehicles in the United States, selling almost 12 million examples since its introduction.

A west coast, no rust, beautiful condition 2-wheel drive pickup truck for consignment. All clean CARFAX, 26,153 original miles, the LS package and it is all good. Hard to find many faults with even a close inspection on this truck, as the bed, which has been Rhino Lined, can be classified as “carefully used”, and the remainder of the truck very nice with a perfect clear coat.

Exterior
Summit White paint bejewels the exterior of this regular cab pickup truck. All painted badging is near perfect, as well as grille, tailgate, and all bumpers have bright and shiny chrome. Yes, this truck is an LS package truck, so that gives you black folding heated power mirrors, a trailering package with class IV hitch, along with a slew of very nice pieces of standard equipment. Freshly refinished wheels with new tires were just installed by the consignor so you will have many miles of happy motoring ahead of you.

Interior
Opening the door we see a nearly perfect condition gray vinyl molded door panel with integrated power window, power lock and power mirror switches. We slide into the near perfect plush charcoal tweed broadcloth bucket seats. These have a fold up center which can either be an extra seat or when folded down a storage console. The original dash instrument panel is in front of the driver and has the full gauge package for ultimate monitoring. An aftermarket AM/FM/CD player which has a small storage compartment below it sits above the manually controlled heater/defroster/A/C dials and slides, dual zoned baby! The rear window even has a defroster to make watching your cargo easier.

Drivetrain
Under the hood is a 5.3 liter V8 that is in a very clean bay. Hoses are supple and everything is looking almost new. There is a 4-speed automatic 4L60E tranny on the back and bringing up the back is a 10- bolt 3.73 geared rear axle.

Undercarriage
All clean under here with only minor surface rust showing on the frame, frame cross members and suspension components. The floors match the body in Summit White are rust free. Independent coil sprung suspension is on the front and leaf springs are on the rear. Power disc brakes and power drums are also noted. A shiny OEM exhaust system is in place to remove spent gasses. Gotta love these West Coast trucks!

Drivability
This truck fired right up and was a breeze on the test track. It handled everything we threw at it with plenty of power, smooth shifting, a great stereo system, and wonderful A/C. This truck rides so smoothly you almost forget it's a truck!
