2009 Jeep Wrangler

The Jeep Wrangler is the direct descendant of the 1940 Willys Quad prototype vehicle that was commissioned by the United States Army and eventually developed into the 1941-1945 Willys MB. The rugged, capable and cheap MB was everywhere during World War II. At some point, the MB took on the nickname "Jeep."

Exterior
Straight Bright Silver steel with a custom bumper package and black flexible fenders flares. 16” Pro Comp wheels which are wrapped in Mickey Thompson LT305/70R16 mud slingers. The custom bumpers in black have a more angular design than the originals, and sport pull rings on either side just in case you get yourself in too deep. A nice black canvas top with clear windows, can be pulled back making an open cockpit and rear passenger area. A nice sound/roll bar stretches from B pillar to B pillar and aids in protection if you happen to get the rubber facing the sky (hey stuff happens!). A note to the full matching spare hanging off the back-swing mount for it, allowing full access to the rear cargo area. “Search high and low...”

Interior
A climb inside and we see two tone dark and light gray making up the seats. These are front buckets and a rear bench in vinyl and are very clean and unmarred. The dash utilizes the two-tone grays as well and presents very nicely. Black carpet covers the floors, and these are protected by rugged rubber mats. In the rear storage compartment pristine gray carpet is seen. Very nice overall interior. “Follow every byway…”

Drivetrain
The 3.8 Liter V6 turns this 4x4's screws and is aided in doing so by electronic fuel injection, a 42RLE 4-speed automatic transmission, and puts out 202hp. “Every path you know...”

Undercarriage
Some surface rust is noted on a protector plate on the passenger's side, but all strong straight frame, and suspension underneath. Independent coil springs upfront, and 4 link with coil springs on the rear along with dual pumpkins for your 4 wheelin and power disc brakes for your wilderness stop offs are noted. “Ford every stream…”

Drive-Ability
This baby fires right up, runs smoothly, and all 4 x 4 gears work perfectly. A bit of a ride, but based on the height, pretty good. The tires sing when you cruise, and unfortunately the Classic Auto Mall test area does not have anything over 10 feet in altitude to try to climb.

A low mileage, all good condition Wrangler, complete with lift kit, snazzy wheels and Mickey Thompson tires, as well as a nice interior and convertible top if you will, this truck is ready to the you where no man has gone before, or at least the wilds of this country where you can reach new heights and sing its praises.
